Last Minute Gasps

Yesterday we saw Chelsea, Arsenal & Man Utd. scoring very very late goals to secure 3 points for themselves respectively, i wonder what is their secret formula but one things for sure Man Utd. is top of the league thanks to Berbatov's late late headed goal. Well done Berba !!!

Chelsea Win Big in FA CUP, Man Utd Slim Win in Premier League

Last night in FA Cup action saw Chelsea thumping Southend U. 4-1, with goals from Ballack, Kalou, Lampard and Anelka. Meanwhile Man U only manage a one goal lead by Wayne Rooney in the first minute, oh well a win is a win.

Man Utd. Vs. Chelsea

Chelsea got a thumping at Old Trafford after losing 3-0 to Man Utd. Nemanja Vidic broke the deadlock in first-half stoppage time. Wayne Rooney added another just after the hour mark before Dimitar Berbatov completed victory for Sir Alex Ferguson's men near the end.

The controversy that everyone's talking about was when United was awarded a corner kick and Rooney seemed to know exactly what he was doing when he rolled the ball into, then out of the quadrant. Giggs ambled over, crossed and Ronaldo powered home a near-post header.Referee Howard Webb said no. United reacted with fury at the perceived injustice of it all, surrounding the linesman who had made the decision.

Amazingly while Chelsea were still trying to take it in as Giggs swung over the re-take. This time Berbatov got there first, flicking the ball on towards the far post where Vidic arrived to power home the header.Justice done if ur a United fan.

Cristiano Ronaldo's car crash

Cristiano Ronaldo completely destroyed his $400,000 Ferrari after he hit a wall in a two-lane tunnel underneath the Manchester Airport. Ronaldo was on his way to training at the Carrington training ground when the accident occurred.He was definitely speeding over the speed limit judging from the wreckage.His Ferrari was a mangled wreck and one of the wheels was found 200 yards away from the vehicle.However Ronaldo walked away without a scratch and no one else was injured,what a lucky cat. Ronaldo does not have to worry about what car to drive next as he has plenty to choose from any of the following in his car fleet, Bentley Continental GT Speed,Rolls Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe,Porsche Cayennes and a BMW M6.

Arsenal Vs. Liverpool

Manage to watch this game on television last night. Was a very interesting game with plenty of events as one might expect from a game between these two teams.

Arsenal took the lead through a fine strike from Van Persie after 24 minutes, it didn't take the Reds too long to level the score as just before the half time break Keane latched onto a long ball up-field and lashed in a thunderous shot, well done Keane :) sure do need a lot of technical ability to do that.

Arsenal were then forced to play the final 30 minutes with only 10 men after referee Howard Webb showed Adebayor his second yellow card for a clumsy challenge on Alvaro Arbeloa.

Casualty of the day was Arsenal's captain Cesc Fabregas, he sustained what looked like a knee problem in a tackle with Spanish compatriot Xabi Alonso at the end of the first half and was unable to continue. We wish him all the best. All in all i truly enjoyed the game.
